Who We Are

DICE (Aust) Pty Ltd (DICE) is a Darwin based, 100% Indigenous owned business in operation since 2004.

Sole Director, Raymond Pratt, has extensive experience of living and working in remote communities. Ray’s electrical apprenticeship commenced and finished between the communities of Bathurst Island, Melville Island and as far remote as Alice Springs.

Raymond spent significant amount of time project managing substantial works in remote locations which meant the early learning at first hand community life has assisted in the ability to engage and connect with people from several Indigenous communities throughout the NT and beyond.

Raymond, a proud Western Arrernte man from Alice Springs has grown the award-winning business to over 50 full time staff and has been recognised for delivering holistic construction, electrical and smart energy solutions across the Northern Territory and beyond.

Director

Raymond is an electrician by trade and the sole founder and Director of DICE. Ray has over 20 years of experience in owning and operating successful businesses and over 25 years within the electrical, renewable energy and construction sectors.

As a proud Indigenous man, with a background in diligently servicing remote and rural areas, he has a passion for making a positive difference for the wider Indigenous community. This passion coupled with ambition and dedication has allowed him to create opportunities for hundreds of people including the current 70 staff and growing.

His impressive track record of business performance, hands-on approach, and clear vision for the future makes him the perfect leader for DICE who will continue their mission to Power Communities and Empower people.

Lindsay O’Hea

GENERAL MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION

Lindsay is a qualified Carpenter by trade and a registered Northern Territory Building Practitioner. With over 17 years experience in the Building Industry across the Northern Territory, Queensland and NSW, Lindsay possesses a high level of understanding of the Building Industry.

Motivated and driven to succeed, Lindsay’s key focus is Business Development, Company Culture and Strategic Direction. His natural born leading skills give him the necessary tools to provide an environment for staff to succeed within the organisation.

Adam Smordowski

GENERAL MANAGER - ELECTRICAL

A Darwin local for 37 years, Adam has dedicated the last 18 years to various roles within the electrical sector, ranging from Site Supervisor to Project Manager, and most recent position as General Manager.

Adam’s experience spans across a spectrum of projects including Subdivisions, Power and Water Infrastructure, Oil & Gas projects as well as large-scale commercial builds up to $20m, providing him with invaluable hands-on insight which he brings to every project.

Adam is a crucial member of DICE with his invaluable knowledge, versatile skill set, leadership ability and consistent delivery of top-tier outcomes.

Jamie Fleming

OPERATIONS & QUALITY COORDINATOR

With over 36 years of Electrical Industry knowledge, this experience leads Jamie to have a deep understanding of the local market.

Jamie leads a highly skilled group of individuals in our Darwin Operation. His best attributes are putting our customers at heart of everything he does and a steadfast dedication to delivering on time and right first time.

Along with providing clients their best outcomes Jamie provides guidance to the Northern Territory operation to ensure our team are always striving for perfection, whilst enjoying the process.

Lauren Hyder

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Lauren is the Chief Financial Officer and head of the finance division at Dice (Aust). With over a decade of financial experience, Lauren has proven expertise in linking business strategy to operational management. Her background as a Chartered Accountant equips her to oversee financial management, strategy, and operations, ensuring Dice meets its objectives and statutory obligations. Known for her strategic insights and collaborative approach, Lauren excels in driving results across diverse environments. She is dedicated to leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance financial processes and drive operational efficiency, thereby fostering sustainable growth and profitability. Lauren’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement makes her a vital asset to DICE, steering the company toward long-term financial success.
