DICE (Aust): Pioneering Remote Construction Across the Northern Territory

April 11, 2025

DICE (Aust) is leading the way in remote construction across the Northern Territory, using innovative systems and community-focused practices to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes. As a 100% Indigenous-owned construction company, DICE (Aust) is proud to play a key role in building critical infrastructure in remote and regional communities across the NT, while also creating employment and training opportunities for Indigenous Australians.

With deep roots in the Northern Territory, DICE (Aust) understands the unique challenges of working in some of Australia’s most isolated and rugged environments. From floodwaters cutting off access routes to trucks bogged hundreds of kilometres from the nearest support, our experienced teams have overcome it all. In one notable instance, when roads became impassable, essential materials were delivered to site by helicopter, highlighting our agility and commitment to getting the job done.

A key part of our success in remote area construction is our use of Procore construction management software. This cloud-based platform streamlines every phase of construction – from planning and procurement to completion – ensuring projects stay on track and on budget. With real-time document management, risk assessment tools, and mobile accessibility, Procore enables our remote teams to stay connected, informed and accountable, no matter how remote the location.

At DICE (Aust), our strength lies in meticulous pre-planning and logistics coordination. By combining this with Procore’s real-time tracking and communication features, we reduce costly delays and improve productivity across the board. These capabilities are critical for managing construction projects in remote NT communities, where flexibility and foresight are essential.
DICE (Aust) is committed to empowering local communities by engaging Indigenous workers, subcontractors and apprentices on every project. Through employment and training initiatives, we’re helping to create long-term economic opportunities and build skills in the regions we serve.

By combining cultural respect, operational excellence, and industry-leading construction technology, DICE (Aust) is setting a new benchmark for remote construction in the Northern Territory. We’re not only building infrastructure, we’re building a stronger, more connected future for Indigenous communities across the Northern Territory.
